Hasan and Mitra are visiting their son Faraz in Europe for the first time. The encounter is emotionally charged by many years of conflict and attempts at reconciliation between father and son. Until today Hasans former life as a left-wing activist continues to influence the family, which he often left behind for his political activities. Accompanied by Faraz' cousin Rahi they spent intense days on a road trip from Budapest to Vienna to Berlin. In this volatile constellation the past and present, politics, family and ideals are discussed, fought over and contemplated.
